It doesn’t take long for little ones to become not-so-little…right before our very eyes. They go from tiny swaddles of newborn joy to clapping, bouncing, exploring bundles of energy in a flash, and that’s why it’s so important to capture as many memories as you can in photos.
Professional photos are a great way to have tons of options within a cozy and comfortable environment for both you and your baby. When you choose a studio session at Andrea Sollenberger Photography, you’re not just having baby pictures taken…you’re creating a collection of memories of your little one’s growing moments. And I take every opportunity to make sure your photos are just as special as your family.
HAPPY FAMILY & A GROWING BABY BOY
Franklin is on the move, and his family needed 1-year photos to capture all his learning and growing moments! From our initial consultation, they were planners and had so many smart ideas. Franklin’s grandparents were going to be in town, and they wanted to be able to include them in his photo session. We ended up combining family portraits and 1-year milestone portraits—and it worked out perfectly! The family’s excellent planning ensured they ended up with a great variety of pictures to treasure and show off for years to come.
LET THE SPOILING BEGIN
Ok, so it may have started on day one when this precious little guy made his first appearance, but how can you resist those sweet little eyes and that precious little face? Exactly! You can’t.
Franklin is absolutely adorable as he poses in his suit and bow tie sitting with his grandparents. What a dapper little man in fancy suspenders and making eye contact with the camera. For a bit of artistic flair, he’s barefoot and wiggling those precious little piggies in the air.
I love the way grandma and grandpa coordinated their outfits, too! Not only are they dressed to match Franklin’s dressy duds, you’ll see yellow stripes in grandpa’s tie that coordinate with grandma’s vibrant yellow blouse—the perfect way to pull everything together!
JUST THE GUYS
This photo was just for the guys, and boy is this a dapper crew! Three generations—grandpa, dad, and baby—pose together in their dressy suits for one that’s sure to be for the memory books.
Be sure you plan family photos regularly so you can treasure all the big and little moments that have impacted and blessed your family! Pretty soon, the littlest guy in this trio will be throwing baseballs or scraping his knees attempting big skateboard moves—so capture all the sweet and tiny innocence of your little ones in a photo collection you can look back on for years to come.
PROFESSIONAL FAMILY PORTRAITS IN GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA
It would be pretty tough to miss the proud expressions on the faces of these parents—and with good reason! This is one effervescent and amazing little boy with a big personality, which made it so fun to work with him.
This is such a fun stage, and I’m so happy this lovely family will have these photos to look back on as their little boy grows and explores the world around him. They now have photos that the family can treasure for generations, and it’s so meaningful that three generations were able to participate in this special session. What great memories they’ll have of the session itself—and of all their times together—every time they look at their photos.
TIPPY-TOE EXPLORER…THE SKY’S THE LIMIT
Franklin is meeting every milestone, and this little red ladder is a perfect example that he’s ready for the next one—CLIMBING! Keep your eyes on this little adventurer, because he’s going places, and he looks pretty cute and happy while he’s doing it.
Fun note: If you look really, really closely, you’ll see the super-soft surface little Franklin is standing on. I never take any chances with my littlest clients, and even though he was adventure-ready, no obstacle courses were completed during Franklin’s photo shoot!
CREATIVE & PROFESSIONAL MILESTONE PHOTOS
It was time to put on the play romper and get down to business—the business of playing, that is! A quick outfit change ended with Franklin in a bright red OshKosh short-all that was perfect for on-the-move moments. Layered with a crisp white tee, he’s a tiny little fashion plate that’s ready to take on the world…er, the playground!
In this photo, he’s sitting on a just-right-sized stool that’s accented by an off-white boho rug for a neutral touch of texture.
You’ll love the selection that’s right at your fingertips at the Andrea Sollenberger Studio! From props to outfits to wraps, you’ll find everything you need. I’m always updating my collection, too, so whatever your décor inspiration, we’ll work together to come up with creative, heartwarming, and unique photos for your baby.
HAPPY SNUGGLES WITH MOM
Mom snuggles are always at the top of the list—no matter how much you grow. This joyful image of baby Franklin soaking up armloads of mom love will always be a precious reminder of those tender early months of his very first year.
SQUEAKY CLEAN & SHOWING OFF THOSE BABY TEETH
In this take on the traditional baby-in-a-tub portrait, Franklin’s big personality comes into play as he gives a little giggle toward the camera. This is always a fun photo because without a lot of extra accessories, it’s easy to see all the adorable features and details that make each little one unique. In this picture, Franklin shows off a mouthful of pearly-white baby teeth and a full head of jet-black hair. His little button nose and tiny ears add to the cuteness factor, too!
Plus, aside from being adorable, the neutral tones of this photo make it ideal for mixing and matching with just about any décor.
LOOK OUT WORLD, HERE HE COMES
Once Franklin discovered this luxuriously furry rug, he was off for a grand adventure! Full of fuzzy, tactile fun, its squishy texture welcomed his curious little hands and protected delicate knees as he moved around.
I love this photo because it captures so many of the early expressions of exploration—the curious look on his face and the tentative lift of his hand from the fuzzy surface as he first encounters it. This handsome little man has a look of determination that says, “Look out, Mom and Dad, nothing’s gonna stop me!”
I can’t tell you how much fun it was to work with little Franklin and his family! What a bright spot in my day to see this little one-year-old happily exploring and playing throughout the studio and enjoying all his new discoveries. It seemed like everywhere he looked, there was something new to learn and do!

Family photos are so priceless. We often have photos with the parents, but to have them with the grandparents too is just a wonderful gift. Franklin will enjoy them for many many years to come.
