I’m thrilled to share this gorgeous newborn photoshoot I did with sweet baby girl Bowie. Mom and Dad enjoyed a maternity session with me just a few short years ago, then returned for a second session with their first newborn — Bowie’s big brother Fitz. Now, here we are with a gorgeous family of four, and baby room pictures that will earn their spot in an elegant little girl’s space.

Baby Pink Aesthetic Pictures
We designed little Bowie’s newborn session around a sweet, soft pink aesthetic, with gorgeous florals, delicate headbands and soft, dreamy textures. Mom Christina loved remaking some of the newborn photos we created of Fitz, but this time with their little girl.
This is another great benefit that repeat clients receive when they schedule maternity, newborn and family sessions with the same Gainesville family photographer — the ability to create companion pieces as their family grows. Christina was already thinking of how she might want to use these sweet matching photos of her precious children in their family home.
Pink Woven Baby Wrap
Little Bowie looks like an absolute angel, bundled up in this pink woven baby wrap. I love incorporating textured wraps and blankets into a newborn baby photo shoot like this one, as the softness keeps little ones warm and cozy while complementing the softness of perfect newborn baby skin.
New parents are often relieved to find out I keep my studio fully stocked with newborn essentials. Photo elements like baby wraps, blankets and props are also included with every newborn session.
Baby Girl Photos
It was such an immense joy to visually capture the tenderness Bowie’s parents feel for their baby girl. That said, all the love Mom and Dad still feel for their firstborn, Fitz, is overwhelmingly evident in the gorgeous family portraits we were able to create. I was so pleased to capture siblings photos, preserving these heartwarming early interactions between two-year-old Fitz and his brand new baby sister.
Portraits like these are truly a gift to siblings like Fitz and Bowie, who will someday look back on these photos and treasure the bond they’ve shared since the very beginning.
Pastel Baby Color
Bowie’s newborn session incorporates a gorgeous pastel color palette, featuring soft pinks, creamy white, lovely lavenders and a dash of pastel blue. These hues are perfectly suited for baby room pictures that highlight winning decor for a little one. I can’t get enough of the sweet, rustic feel of little Bowie’s baby portraits.
During Bowie’s photo session, we took full advantage of our time by capturing newborn portraits, sibling portraits, family portraits and photos of baby girl Bowie with Mom and Dad, respectively. As I keep beautifully designed gowns, dresses and baby wraps on hand, it was easy to create a matching mommy-and-me look with elegant pink lace and a delicate white headband for Bowie.
When family members plan on getting into frame, I always recommend that everyone wear soft, pastel colors that match, and ensure all shirts are pressed and clean. Dad and big brother Fitz both chose lovely pastel blue shirts that compliment Bowie’s soft pink color palette wonderfully.
The safety and comfort of a little one is always my top priority. That’s exactly why my newborn studio is equipped with plenty of soft and contoured surfaces. Nothing beats the expert knowledge of an experienced newborn photographer who can ensure every pose is safe and comfortable. This skill truly allows for baby photos that capture all those sweet newborn details that change so fast. Little Bowie is sure to melt any heart with these close-ups of her precious newborn features and tiny little hands, already so expressive — even as she naps.

Andrea, you’re almost making me want another baby just so I can have these precious newborn photos of my children! On another note, mom’s hair looks fabulous!! But back to that darling baby girl.
