Newborn Baby Arrives- Don’t Give Up Trying to Start a Family!
Mom, Nicole, from Gainesville, FL contacted Andrea Sollenberger Photography to be the Newborn Photographer for her brand new little Hensley. Hensley is particularly special to this set of parents. Mom and Dad have waited more than ten years for this beloved baby, fostering 10 children during the decade of waiting. Finally, after a journey with in vitro fertilization, they have this brand new baby girl. Their message to other couples is “Do not give up trying to start your family no matter what that looks like!” They hope that their story will encourage other young couples and bring them hope. I was honored to be the chosen newborn photographer to capture newborn photo moments in this family’s life.
That Soft Baby Skin Comes to Life in Newborn pictures!
Hensley has that soft baby skin, so silky and smooth. She looks so gorgeous in her photos. You can see her tiny baby details! Her pretty lips and thin locks. Her little hands holding a miniature felt green heart is almost too much. I love all those toes and fingers together…too perfect!
Because Hensley slept so well, I was able to pose her like an angel in her newborn photos. She looks precious sleeping in this little fur stuffed basket.
Parent Newborn Portrait Time
I love getting parents posed for sentimental newborn photos. Dad, Ryan, was also at the photo session. We were able to capture this memory of mom and dad’s first family portrait. This will be one of their earliest documented moments with newborn Hensley. What a beautiful family they make. Proud Dad and teary eyed but delighted Mom make a strong team.
Props, Colors, and Textures for newborn pictures!
Andrea Sollenberger Photography has a complete prop collection and a beautiful newborn wardrobe. These are available for each studio newborn session. During Nicole’s newborn consult I learned about her home decorating style and décor color preferences. We used all of her ideas to design her session. Nicole chose cheery florals, girly lace and fur for textures. To fit with her color scheme, we used colors of soft rose, sage green, and ivory for Hensley’s Newborn Photos. You can see more newborn props, colors and textures in the newborn portfolio.
I love Hensley sleeping in this round basket surrounded with shades of green flowers. She is also sweet as can be posed sleeping on her arms in a drawer draped with lace. A little sleeping beauty.
In the end, I could tell that these props that I hand selected at the photography studio worked perfectly for Hensley. What a gorgeous girl and a joy to photograph!

This green set up was a special request of the Mom. She had me do something similar for newborn photos of a baby girl last year, and she remembered seeing it and falling in love! I love when happy clients follow my work that closelt and over a long period of time!
