This is a moment that has been anticipated for a long time and these are memories that will be treasured.  Offering maternity photography to Gainesville Florida area and capturing the love and anticipation of expectant parents is a joy and an honor. Meeting beautiful women, devoted dads, sharing their excitement with beautiful maternity images, and telling their family story in photos are the favorite parts of my job.

Vera and Bing came into the studio for their maternity session having booked both maternity photos and newborn photos. Vera called me as Gainesville area newborn photographer 3 months before her due date, knowing there was much planning to begin. Vera’s decision to choose Andrea Sollenberger Photography was because of a referral from one of her Gainesville friends. Referrals from friends send a powerful word of mouth. Vera decided she wanted to have the same great experience of maternity photos and newborn portraits that her friend had.

BOUTIQUE STUDIO MATERNITY GOWN

With a baby girl on the way, Vera wanted a floral feminine theme and a rich, elegant lace for her two gown choices. These gowns, she decided, would be of a color palette that would look great as photography wall art to decorate her home. They would also coordinate their maternity photos with her newborn session color palette. At the studio, we chose a floral pink and sage maternity gown in an ivory jersey fabric.

We also chose an elegant ivory lace long sleeve fitted gown with circular train. The studio wardrobe includes a beautiful collection of maternity gowns in a variety of color palettes, styles and sizes. It was easy to dress Vera in the gowns of her choosing from the wide selection of maternity gowns available. Maternity gowns and dresses are available in our studio and are offered as part of our maternity studio session. With so many expenses approaching, pregnant moms are always glad to see the selection from the studio’s boutique maternity gown wardrobe available for their maternity sessions when they come in to visit the studio. This is one less expense for mom and dad to spend, and it made Vera and her husband Bing very happy clients.

MATERNITY PHOTOS AND POSING

My clients will often ask if they can bring their man along to the session for some photos together, and my answer is an absolute Yes! I love catching images of mom and dad together as they walk forward in this journey of parenthood. They are on this path together, and very soon there will be another family member, a baby in their arms, and then a little one walking beside them. This is their family story…and they have created it together.

Expectant parents may feel that they will not look good in front of the camera, as Vera and Bing expressed. But professional posing and directing is provided to make you look your best you! Simple and elegant, these gently posed maternity photos keep mom comfortable and dad relaxed. During these nine months, expectant moms are growing in a relationship, a love that grows deeper while waiting for baby to be born. Pregnant women are about to meet a brand new baby who will change their lives. You can read this love and excitement on Vera’s face. It is a look that is often called a maternal glow. To capture that beautiful glow which others can see will become a treasured memory for Vera.
