DEACON’S NEWBORN IMAGES
At 6 months pregnant, Jade contacted Andrea Sollenberger Photography for information about creating maternity and newborn images. Her studio visit was an opportunity to meet me, see the studio setting, the maternity gown wardrobe and the newborn prop collection available for a newborn photo session. It was a time for her to learn about me and make sure I am the maternity photographer for her and the newborn photographer she can trust for careful newborn handling. Newborn safety is of paramount importance. Extensive education and training in newborn posing and safety is the highest priority at Andrea Sollenberger Photography. With her questions answered and her mind at ease, Jade booked both her maternity and newborn photo sessions. I hope you enjoy Jade and Carlo’s newborn images of baby Deacon.
PARENTS IN NEWBORN PHOTOS
Jade and I spent time before the newborn photoshoot discussing her vision for photos, her home decorating style and color preferences. It is important to me to style newborn sessions that fit my client’s tastes and home decor as much as possible. In doing this, the newborn photos fit right into their home. We used all of her ideas to design a session that included styles and preferences specific to their tastes. Jade chose soft hues of cream, grey and pale blue, with textures of wood, metal, and fur.
Jade posed here with Deacon bundled in a cream knit blanket. This beautiful mom wraps her newborn with arms of love. There is emotion for her newborn from the very beginning and I love capturing this mom and newborn cuddle time together.
Carlo is a proud daddy and gives his newborn baby a special kiss! It melts my heart to see the warmth and emotion of a new father.
For their first family portrait, Deacon is bundled up in a cream blanket while his gorgeous mom and handsome dad share a family hug. A photo of the two of them smiling at the camera will remind them of how very much their hearts were filled with joy when Deacon arrived!
I always love a beauty photo of mom and newborn snuggling on soft fur. Deacon is bundled up here in the same cream blanket and posed with beautiful mom on a bed of white fur. This is a newborn image that marks the time. It is a priceless moment and captured forever.
GAINESVILLE NEWBORN IMAGES WITH BABY PROPS
To begin our newborn images with props, Deacon sits in a grey stuffed bowl wrapped in a pale blue knit blanket against a grey wood floor. He is even more dear photographed in this prop from the side to show his beautiful features.
I adore the way Deacon looks in these white shades surrounding his skin. He is wrapped in white and photographed against back light. The white fur stuffed bowl adds some nice texture to the photo.
A close up of his face and hands shows his delicate features. I love his tiny newborn hands tucked under his chin. He is a beautiful newborn baby.
Next Deacon posed naked in a metal bucket against the same grey wood floor. A baby in a bucket is such a fun pose and prop!
Our last prop is my favorite newborn image. Here is Deacon sleeping on a trendy metal bed, bottom up and hands under his cheeks on a white dotted bedspread. He was a great little poser!

NAKED NEWBORN IMAGES – BLANKET POSES
Photos that show soft baby skin help us remember the way babies were from their earliest days. For a very different set of newborn images, we were able to photograph Deacon naked. While he slept on, we moved to a soft blanket.
Deacon posed on his belly on a white blanket with his head resting on his tiny newborn hands, bottoms up! With dark brown hair there is a nice contrast against the white blanket. His perfect soft baby skin steals the show!
Mom and Dad’s favorite from this gallery is the next newborn image. They ordered a large portrait of naked Deacon resting on his side cupping his face with his tiny newborn hands. Look at those adorable squishy baby cheeks! This newborn portrait will look beautiful in their new home in South Florida.
Deacon’s soft baby skin is also highlighted as he posed naked again, with his head resting on his hands and his face to the camera. All of those newborn baby details to enjoy!
What a treat it was to photograph this Gainesville newborn baby! Jade and Carlo bought the whole set plus their wall art and they have their newborn images to cherish for a lifetime.

What a beautiful family! The lighting and background colors highlight the beautiful color of Deacon’s skin. He looks so relaxed and comfortable in all of his shots.
