From the moment I met sweet Ayaan’s family, I had so much fun and was so inspired to take his newborn photos! I love my clients—especially all the teeny-tiny ones—and it was a joy to work with such a loving family that was over-the-moon excited to welcome their brand-new little one.
Families grow and change over time, and newborn photos are a special treasure to look back on. This loving family will always be able to look back and remember their first days together as a family of three!
Mom did a LOT of research before selecting the Andrea Sollenberger Studio, too, but she said ultimately, she was looking for newborn photos that made her heart sing. After looking through my portfolio and reading about the relaxing and pampered experience they would have, they booked their newborn photo session.
THE SWEETEST DADDY & ME PHOTOS
The love for this little one is visible on dad’s doting face as he cradles Ayaan in his arms and gazes down at him. The family chose a neutral palette, which gives their photos an upscale and modern look. With dad dressed in a light tan shirt and Ayaan swaddled in white, they make the perfect pair in these sweet photos. Snoozing peacefully through the moment, Ayaan shows off little round cheeks and a head full of dark hair!
First-time parents, Ayaan’s mom and dad are beaming in their photos. After planning for and anticipating the arrival of their little man, they’re thrilled to show off their cherished newborn baby boy.
GLOWING & FULL OF LOVE
In this sweet image, mom cradles Ayaan in the crook of her neck as they both relax on a luxurious white throw. Tone-on-tone styling adds an ethereal and enchanting feeling to this portrait that shows off mom’s pride and joy as he’s quietly snuggled in her arms. With a protective hand on his tiny head and a smile on her face, mom lets the world know that her little one has her entire heart!
ALL TUCKED IN WITH TEDDY
A sleepy newborn Ayaan snoozes softly in this tiny wooden bed that’s perfect for layering with plenty of soft and cozy blankets. We even tucked a fuzzy rug underneath the bed to complete the look. He looks just like an angel as he holds a tiny white teddy bear tucked next to his cheek.
Wearing a warm and comfy long knit cap and with his head resting on a small pillow, this sweet little one is perfect—and perfectly content to steal hearts…even while he sleeps!
ALL DRESSED IN BLUE FOR BABY BOY PHOTOS
I worked very closely with mom throughout the planning for Ayaan’s photo session. We went over everything from colors to textures to props so they would be sure to have the photo collection of their dreams. For the photo below, we added in the softest baby blue swaddle, knit hat, and fuzzy blanket for a touch of baby boy charm.
I love this pose with Ayaan’s tiny fingers peeking out of his swaddle and just a hint of his black hair showing under a super-soft cap. His expression is so relaxed and peaceful as he sleeps, and his parents will always be able to look back and recall exactly how tiny he was.
BASKET FULL OF LOVE
Nestled lovingly into a woven basket that’s lined with a plush, furry throw, tiny Aayan crosses his legs and snuggles close to his tiny teddy bear. And just look at that dapper hairdo with a side part…absolutely adorable! (Trust me, when your newborn baby has enough hair to part and style, you definitely want to capture it in pictures!)
NAPTIME IN NEUTRALS
Wrapped in a partial swaddle and resting on the softest surface, baby Ayaan shows off all ten fingers and toes. Photos like this one are the perfect way to be able to look back and remember every single newborn moment, smell, and memory! Those first days with your baby home fly by so quickly, and professional photos can help you reminisce about all the little details that are tucked in your heart.

At only 12 days old, tiny Ayaan still has that newborn sleepiness, and he’s comfy and adorable as he naturally curls into the fetal position. It was the perfect time to bring him to the studio so we could capture all those precious moments and expressions when he’s at his tiniest.

I thought the blue swaddle with fingers peeking out was my favorite too, but Ayaan cloaked in white holding his white teddy on the tiny wooden bed stole my heart! It’s special that we all have our favorites! Glad Mom and Dad have a variety of different baby props and poses with their little bundle to enjoy.
The newborn photos of Ayaan are great. I found the pictures of him with his dad very compelling.

Look at all that dark hair on that precious new baby! I love that you didn’t cover it up in every newborn picture with a cute little hat! I know his parents will enjoy this photos now, but even more so 10, 20, and even 30 years from now.
