18 Month Photo Shoot: Toddler Gabe

From the moment they open their eyes to their first steps, every day seems to mark a new milestone for a precious newborn child. These initial growing stages often fly by as parents, siblings and pets adjust to a new family member in the home. Baby milestone photos are an excellent way to capture your little one’s journey as they age. Six month, one year, 18 month photo shoots: many parents plan in advance for baby or toddler portraits at these growth markers. Gabe is full of personality, has lots of energy, and of course, remains adorable as ever.

I can’t think of a better way to preserve those earliest memories as a loving unit than with professional family portraits. It was my honor to work with parents Jenn and Paoul, along with big brother Grayson, as the family welcomed their newest addition, baby girl Nora. Newborn baby photos combined with sibling portraits and family shots truly made this an all-in-one session.

Newborn babies are so special, sometimes the best way to capture them is also the simplest. When first-time parents Sam and Alex reached out to schedule a newborn photography session for their sweet little one, Wyatt, mom requested a simple newborn portrait session to capture Wyatt in a style that matched their easygoing personalities and the love they feel for their newborn son. This is such a brief season in their lives and I was honored to help provide lasting remembrance of all of those newborn details, as well as the love and excitement those early days with a brand new bundle of joy can bring. Simple newborn photos are a gift to the whole family.

Newborn Photos With Siblings

Siblings add a new element of fun and excitement to any professional newborn photo session. I’m delighted to share this wonderful family photo shoot I had the privilege of capturing for Janet and Nick as they welcomed their second child. Newborn Jack and big brother James look precious together in soft blue hues and neutral cream-colored textures that play beautifully off of baby Jack’s steel blue eyes. It’s heartwarming to watch families grow and value these precious early years, especially when they come back to have their most special moments documented. Janet and Nick were thrilled to have similar newborn photos captured for both of their boys at my studio.

Baby Boy Photos: Featuring Bodhi

I recently had the pleasure of capturing baby Bodhi in my professional newborn photography studio. Baby boy photos are a wonderful treasure that can be passed down for generations. We all know how fast little ones grow, which makes it all the more important to capture every newborn detail before it changes. Bodhi was so eager to meet new parents Caitlin and Cameron, he arrived six weeks early at 4 pounds 14 ounces. After spending a week in the NICU as a precaution, Bodhi showed everyone he was healthy and growing fast. Perhaps he was only carrying on a family tradition, as Caitlin’s mother had all her babies a few weeks early as well.
