I was delighted to have a chance to photograph twin newborns Samuel and Sophia in my newborn photography studio! Working with every newborn baby is a joy and a special privilege. The honor and the joy only doubles with a Twin Newborns.
Twin Newborns In The Studio
It’s funny how different Samuel and Sophia are! Every new baby is fresh and thrilling and beautiful, and from the beginning their personalities start to peek out. As we began their newborn session at the studio, Samuel was so laid back and peaceful. He slept easily and stayed asleep long. Sophia made us work for it, just wanted to be held, and it was hard to get her sleep to match the rested state of her brother Samuel. But when she was laid down beside her brother, she settled in as though she was home. It’s so interesting to watch twins comforted by one another. I am awed by the bond that twin newborns have from their time shared in the womb. Their dependence on each other is evident from the start. Once they were side by side together, their sweetest sleep began!!!
Beautiful Twin Newborns
The twin newborns looked so beautiful together. When their mom spoke of neutral colors of cream and beige, I knew I wanted to wrap them in these potato sack knit wraps with matching bonnets and pop them in a fur stuffed basket. I love the soft colors against their rich toned skin! And posed cuddling together holding hands in this metal newborn bed covering them with a cream blanket and complete with sleepy hats, textured pillow and distressed white floor, this was another favorite set up for these twin newborns. Samuel and Sophia sure were snuggle buddies! And they saved some cuddle time for me, too!
Gainesville Florida Newborn Session
We had such a fun newborn session! It was really a blast to hang out with my old friend Kathryn and work with her two newborn babies. I usually try to take weekends off, but I couldn’t have had a more enjoyable Saturday morning than I did with these twin newborns making these beautiful photos!
I fall in love with the gift of new life every time I study the tiny details of a newborn and feel their warmth in my arms. That soft baby skin nestled close to mine grabs hold of my heart and reminds me to value this miracle of new life. I hope you’ve enjoyed Samuel and Sophia’s newborn photos.
